AfterSchool Together CLG is a large childcare provider based in Newcastle, Galway. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in after school hours. We offer a range of activities designed to foster growth, creativity, and social skills. With a focus on child-led play, we strive to make every child’s time with us enriching and enjoyable.
We are seeking enthusiastic staff to join our Summer Camp team in July and continue with our service from September.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 in Early Years or a related field and/ or least 2 years of experience in a childcare or teaching setting, preferably with children aged 4 years and older
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of a child-centred approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Available to work afternoons in-term and more flexible out of term
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality childcare and education to children in the afterschool program
- Implement and adapt activities to support children's development
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with parents
