The Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient running of the service on a day-to-day basis and safeguarding the continued sustainability of the business.
What we require:
- Have a minimum of QQI Level 6 in Childcare, Level 7 / 8 preferable.
- Experience in SAC management is an advantage and is preferable but not a necessity as there will be support and training for the successful candidate.
- Day to day running of the SAC service
- General compliance with Tusla statutory obligations
- First Aid
- Compliance with Pobal inspections and inspectors
- Compliance with kitchen inspections and inspectors
- Garda vetting
- Acceptance, recording and safe keeping of children’s records
- Staff rosters
- Daily checking of staff hours / timesheets for payroll
- Monitoring of school classroom registers
- Statutory record keeping for NCS
- The ability to lead a team
- The ability to self-motivate and meet targets and deadlines.
- Ability to work in partnership with staff and parents keeping the child at the heart of what we do

- Ensure a safe secure and healthy environment for children, staff and visitors to our school
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
Job Type-
Full-time (35 hours), Monday to Friday, with scope for flexi hours.
Part time option also available: 20-25hrs per week.
Term Time (38 weeks) or Full Time (52 weeks) is available
