Full job description

As a Junior Accountant, or Entry Level Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller with managing daily financial and accounting tasks for businesses. Main duties include preparing and maintaining financial statements, compiling reports and preparing balance sheets.

support upper-level accounting managers and senior accountants while providing important services within the office..

Responsibilities:

Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
Maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures
Updating financial records via accounting software
Gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line
Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management
Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets

Person Specification:

· 1+ years' experience of working on a Junior Accountant position

· Experience with basic accounting and financial practices

· Good knowledge of MS Office and popular accounting software (such as Xero/BrightPay)

· Strong team player skills with close attention to detail

· Good analytical٫ numerical and presentational skills

· BSc or BA degree in accounting٫ finance or other relevant areas; relevant qualifications such as ACA٫ ACCA or CIMA will be a bonus
