Pure Oil is a family-owned and managed business with a reputation for providing high-quality edible vegetable oil products to businesses across Ireland as well as used and waste oil collection. We provide our customers with a ‘complete managed service’

We currently have a FULL-TIME vacancy for a Procurement / Purchasing & Accounts Payable Administrator based out of our Wexford Depot.

Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday, 39.5 hours per week.
9.00am - 5.30pm Monday-Friday.

Overview of the Role:

Source and procure materials, products, and services in line with business requirements.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve the best value for the business.
Process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate deliveries to ensure continuity of supply.
Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery dockets.
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Assist with month-end accounts payable procedures.
Maintain accurate procurement and financial records.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient purchasing and payment processes.
Support continuous improvement of procurement and accounts payable procedures.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum of 1-year experience working in a customer service-focused role.
Experience in a Customer Service Administrator role within an environment focused on sales growth and achievement of targets.
Previous experience in direct contact with customers
Ability to successfully negotiate with customers by building a strong relationship.
Possess excellent telephone mannerisms.
Highly organised and proactive.
Ability to be self-motivated and driven to meet set targets.

Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, accounts payable, or a similar administrative role.
Proven ability to negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using accounting or ERP software is desirable.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
