Full job description

We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach. The successful candidate will work as part of our supportive dental team, providing high-quality hygiene and periodontal care to our patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative and periodontal care to our patients in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out routine dental hygiene treatments and professional dental cleaning
Assessing patients' periodontal health and providing appropriate periodontal treatment
Providing oral hygiene instruction and tailored preventative advice
Educating and motivating patients to improve and maintain their oral health
Working closely with our dentists to provide coordinated, comprehensive patient care
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
Ensuring excellent standards of cross-infection control and clinical care
Creating a friendly, comfortable and reassuring experience for patients

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified and registered to work as a Dental Hygienist in Ireland
Friendly, caring and patient-focused
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, reliable and well organised
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Passionate about preventative dentistry and delivering a high standard of patient care
