Full job description

Barberstown Castle Hotel in Straffan, Co. Kildare are currently recruiting for full time Kitchen Porters to join our established team.

If you have a passion for delivering a quality service, we want to hear from you.

Requirements of the Role:

Variable shifts. You must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends where necessary as our kitchens operate over a 7 day period.
Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is preferred.
A keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to maintain high standards.
HACCP and Manual Handling training preferred, although training is provided.
The ability to drive is desirable as depending upon shifts, they may end late at night.

Responsibilities:

Dishwashing: Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised.
Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
Assisting: Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.
Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
