Full job description

Pauline’s Restaurant are seeking a motivated full time manager or supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, friendly, with strong organisational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage staff, operations, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards
Open and close the restaurant as scheduled with procedures in place
Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety, HACCP, and company policies at all times
Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to control costs and minimise waste
Create and manage weekly staff schedules
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and service standards in a friendly environment
Address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for both guests and staff
Monitor sales, labour costs, and operational expenses to meet budget targets
Handle cash management, daily reports, and basic accounting tasks
Assist with menu implementation, pricing updates, and promotions
Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a strong workplace culture
Communicate effectively with owners and management regarding operations and improvements

Requirements

1 year minimum restaurant management or supervisory experience
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Some knowledge of food safety regulations and employment legislation
Good level of English required for effective communication
Proficient in outlook/ excel & basic computer skills
References from previous employment available

All applicants must have a valid Irish work permit or IRP card (Stamp 1G, 2, 2A, 3, etc.) OR a right to work in Ireland.
