Full job description

Due to continued expansion and growth, M50GSE Dublin Airport are looking for an enthusiastic, can-do HGV/LGV Apprentice Mechanic to join their busy Service and Maintenance Team. M50GSE currently provide maintenance and repair services for the total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies. Joining our team offers you the enjoyment of working in a people-focused work environment, along with many career advancement and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform routine inspections and carry out services of different levels
Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair on a varied fleet of HGVs, LGV's & Airport related machinery
Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Provide updates on a daily basis
Ensure good housekeeping by maintaining a clean and safe workplace
Work with Truck models such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, and DAF
To undertake any other duties or activities as required

Key Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate will ideally:

Be friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Be diligent, with a flexible and can do approach to work
Work well under pressure

Hours of work

Monday - Thursday: 08.00 - 16.30
Friday: 08.00 - 15.30
