Team: Terex MDS Engineering
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mon–Thurs), 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Fri)

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll dive into exciting design projects for our world-class MDS equipment line, supporting everything from concept to prototype to production.
You’ll:

Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions for next-gen equipment

Create detailed drawings and 3D models (SolidWorks) including weldments and assemblies

Build BOMs (Bill of Materials) and collaborate with suppliers to gather product data

Make sure our designs are safe, functional, and field-ready

Solve real-time engineering problems — both on the production floor and in the field

Work cross-functionally with teams across engineering, operations, and customer support

A degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering (or similar)

Solid grasp of 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and PDM systems

A passion for designing systems that integrate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical elements

Problem-solving mindset and creative flair for innovation

Strong communication skills and team-first attitude

A curiosity to learn and a “let’s figure it out” approach to challenges

Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis)

Familiarity with mobile machinery electrical/hydraulic systems

Understanding of how to balance technical feasibility with commercial impact

Presentation and stakeholder communication skills
