Digital Marketing Account Manager
Salary: €30,000–€35,000 + Performance Bonus
Location: Flexible / Hybrid
HQ: Dundalk, Co. Louth
About the Role
ZOMA is looking for a Digital Marketing Account Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts.
This is a varied role combining client account management, digital marketing strategy, campaign execution and content creation.
You’ll become a key point of contact for your clients, developing a strong understanding of their businesses, commercial objectives and target customers. From there, you’ll help determine where their marketing efforts should be focused, coordinate activity across the ZOMA team and ensure the work we deliver is generating meaningful results.
We’re looking for someone who can see the bigger picture while also being comfortable getting hands-on. You should be confident discussing strategy and performance with clients while also being capable of working directly with Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing, analytics, content and design.
You’ll be comfortable taking marketing activity from idea to execution – developing the strategy, creating campaign messaging and creative, launching activity and analysing the results – while collaborating with ZOMA’s specialist team where required.
Ultimately, you’ll act as an extension of our clients’ businesses, helping them make better marketing decisions and grow.
Main Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of ZOMA client accounts and develop strong, long-term client relationships.
- Become a trusted marketing contact for clients, understanding their business, objectives, customers and commercial priorities.
- Lead regular client communications, marketing reviews and strategy discussions.
- Translate client objectives into clear marketing strategies, campaigns and actions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client marketing performance rather than waiting for clients to request work.
- Provide strategic and tactical recommendations designed to help our clients grow.
- Coordinate with ZOMA team members to ensure projects and campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Manage client expectations, priorities, timelines and outstanding actions.
- Maintain clear task lists and consistently follow up on outstanding items.
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and teamwork.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
- Develop and recommend digital marketing strategies based on each client’s objectives, audience and budget.
- Create, manage and optimise digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Manage or assist with campaigns across LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking, Meta Pixels and other campaign measurement tools.
- Conduct A/B testing across advertising creative, messaging, landing pages and campaigns.
- Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve leads, sales, conversions and return on advertising spend.
- Regularly plan, create and optimise engaging email marketing campaigns.
- Create and implement email automations, triggers and customer journeys.
- Provide recommendations across social media, content, SEO, websites and other digital channels.
- Keep up to date with developments across digital marketing, advertising platforms, AI and emerging marketing channels.
Design & Content Creation
- Create and adapt marketing assets for digital campaigns, including social media graphics, paid advertising creative, email graphics and other day-to-day client marketing materials.
- Work confidently within existing client brand guidelines and templates to produce professional, on-brand creative.
- Use tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite to efficiently produce campaign assets.
- Create effective marketing copy for advertisements, social media, emails, landing pages and other digital content.
- Understand the relationship between creative, copy and campaign performance – designing with a marketing objective in mind rather than simply making something look good.
- Test different creative concepts, imagery, messaging, formats and calls-to-action to improve campaign performance.
- Brief and collaborate with ZOMA’s creative team on larger design, branding, video and content requirements.
SEO, Analytics & Reporting
- Create strategically sound recommendations for website search engine optimisation.
- Conduct keyword research and develop relevant website metadata and on-page recommendations.
- Monitor marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics, advertising platforms, email analytics and website analytics.
- Produce clear client performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Interpret data and explain what happened, why it happened and what we should do next.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, lead generation, customer acquisition and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Ensure client marketing activity remains aligned with their wider commercial objectives.
- Experience or knowledge of SEO and emerging GEO / AI search optimisation would be looked upon favourably.
A Suitable Candidate Will Have
- Experience in digital marketing, account management or a similar client-facing marketing role.
- A strong understanding of how digital marketing can generate leads, sales and business growth.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign creation, optimisation, conversion tracking and testing.
- Familiarity with other paid advertising platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo and/or Mailchimp.
- Confidence using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics.
- Good graphic design skills and a strong eye for creative, with experience producing professional digital marketing assets.
- Confidence using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
- An understanding of design fundamentals including layout, typography, hierarchy, branding and designing for different digital formats.
- The ability to work within an existing brand identity and independently create effective, on-brand marketing assets.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.
- The ability to explain marketing performance and recommendations clearly to people who aren’t marketing experts.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities.
- The confidence to work independently, make recommendations and take ownership of projects.
- The ability to work effectively both on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- A proactive mindset – someone who looks for opportunities, identifies problems and suggests better ways of doing things.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, curious and proactive. You should want to understand how a client’s business actually works and be comfortable recommending or challenging approaches when you believe there is a better way to achieve their goals.
Benefits & Salary

- Performance-based bonus structure.
- Flexible working location and flexible working hours.
