Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Whilst the key responsibilities for the role are outlined below they are not limited to same.
Vehicle Set Ups:
- Create vehicle order on the system on receipt of same from Shipping Manager
- On creation of the Vehicle Birth Cert, upload information to the revenue system liaise with Group Tender Manager re same
Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) for Ireland - Certificate of Conformity (CoC):
- Upload CoC’s from manufacturers to revenue online system
- Ensure the body of the vehicle is also registered and new statistical code is received from revenue
Sales Invoicing:
- Generate quotes and create invoices as per SIMI Sales Order Form from Retail Sales Team member
- Create invoices as per Dealer Order Form
- Ensure accuracy of invoice i.e. pricing, costs and codes
- Invoice customer directly or go through partner brokers for finance option
Supplier Invoices:
- Create Purchase Orders for supplier invoices received for body, sign writing, tow bars etc
Other:
- Ensure all internal and external communications are of the highest standard
- Manage and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, customers and any other external partners
- Generate sales reports as required
- Maintain records of all quotations and orders
- Assisting with stock takes by liaising with dealers and customers
- Ad hoc administrative duties
Person specification
As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate a strong work ethic with proven Automotive industry experience. You must also have relevant vehicle registration and sales invoicing experience.
