Full job description

Job Title: Call Centre Agent

Work hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week

This role will work primarily in our back-office customer engagement contact centre environment. You will be the first point of contact for inbound patient calls/enquiries in our Dublin Dental Practice (Red Cow/Clondalkin).

You will be responsible for answering inbound calls as a priority (Contact Centre) as well as engaging with patients face to face (Front of House) when necessary. The main function of this role will be in the Contact Centre.

At 3Dental customer service is expected to be of the highest standard and each patient should be treated like a VIP. This is a shift-based role (earliest start: 7.30am, latest finish: 8pm) and will involve working at least one Saturday per month (8:30am-5pm).

Key Duties:

· Responding to inbound calls and queries.

· Scheduling patient appointments in line with their personal schedule and our in-house booking system (booking, cancelling, rearranging, and confirming appointments).

· Use of Boxly – Customer engagement system to follow up on incoming queries (web/email etc.)

· Engaging with patients regarding dental queries and questions.

· Checking a patient into the appointment system.

· Scanning of patient documents and engaging with patients via email and phone post appointment.

· Cash handling/taking patient deposits and treatment payments.

· Ad-hoc Front of house tasks and responsibilities

Requirements and experience:

· Medical Practice experience a distinct advantage.

· Must be fully computer literate and comfortable using MS Office.

· Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

· Excellent communication and engagement skills.

· Reliable and committed to delivering a positive patient experience.

· Proactive and able to take the initiative to find solutions.

· Must have fluent English.

· Experience of dealing with patient/client queries (including call/email follow up).

· Must have inbound call handling experience and capable of handling multi-line phone desk.

· Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment a must.

Working Schedule:

8 hour shift between 7:30am and 8pm Monday to Friday.

7.5 hour shift 8:30am-5pm Saturdays (when required).
