VEEP Energy is expanding its Commercial & Residential Solar PV division and we are now looking for an experienced Lead Solar PV Roofer to join our installation team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently lead a roofing crew on Solar PV installations while maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and professionalism on site.

We deliver high-quality Solar PV systems for homes, schools, factories, offices, retail sites and public sector clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Solar PV roofing installations on site
- Install mounting systems, rails and PV panels safely and efficiently
- Read and follow layout drawings and installation plans
- Ensure installations are completed to a high standard
- Manage roofing crew and daily site activities
- Maintain strong health & safety practices at all times
- Coordinate with electricians, project managers and clients on site
- Ensure photo documentation and quality control procedures are followed
- Identify and resolve installation issues proactively
- Work on pitched roofs, flat roofs and commercial roofing systems
RequirementsEssential
- Previous Solar PV installation experience
- Roofing experience essential
- Ability to lead a team independently
- Full clean driving licence
- Safe Pass
- Manual Handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work at heights safely
Desirable
- Working at Heights certification
- IPAF / MEWP ticket
- Teleporter / slinger experience
- Experience with:
- SolarEdge
- Flat roof ballast systems
- Commercial Solar PV projects
- Standing seam and trapezoidal roof systems
