Role Description
ConServ Event Specialists are seeking a motivated, organised, and client-focused Event Solutions Consultant / Sales Executive to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding client needs, and helping organisations create successful events. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while also managing and growing relationships with our extensive base of repeat clients.
More than simply selling services, this role requires someone who can consult with clients, understand their objectives, identify challenges, and recommend the most effective event and AV solutions to achieve their desired outcomes within budget.
The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to clients throughout the event planning process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and generate new business opportunities across corporate, association, public sector, and event markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Respond to incoming enquiries and prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
- Consult with clients to understand their event objectives, audience, technical requirements, and budget.
- Recommend appropriate AV, production, staging, streaming, and event technology solutions.
- Work closely with production managers and technical teams to ensure successful event delivery.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and repeat business.
- Represent ConServ professionally at meetings, site visits, networking events, and industry functions.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales, business development, account management, or client relationship role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to build trust and establish long-term client relationships.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify client needs and business opportunities.
- A consultative approach to sales, focused on delivering solutions rather than simply selling services.
- Ability to understand and empathise with client challenges, objectives, and event goals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean EU driving licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within the AV, live events, production, hospitality, exhibitions, or events industry.
- Knowledge of audiovisual technology, event production, hybrid events, or live streaming solutions.
- Experience preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Existing network of corporate or event industry contacts would be advantageous.
