Full job description

Clarke Civil Works Ltd is a growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering projects throughout Ireland. We are looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator with a strong bookkeeping background to join our team and work alongside our existing Office Administrator.

This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities and is happy to get involved wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase and sales ledger
Bank reconciliations
Preparing supplier payments
Credit control
Processing invoices and expenses
Assisting with VAT and financial records
Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records
General office administration
Answering telephone and email enquiries
Ordering office supplies
Supporting project administration
Filing and maintaining company records
Assisting the Directors with day-to-day administrative tasks

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in an office administration role
Strong bookkeeping experience (essential)
Experience with Sage Accounting (desirable)
Excellent organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
Confident communicator with a professional manner
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to support the wider team

Pay: €14.25-€16.00 per hour
