Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Senior Associate) with 0–3 years of experience who can work across both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on automation experience along with strong skills in understanding user stories, creating test cases, and executing end-to-end testing in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Work closely with product owners and developers to understand user stories and define test scenarios
- Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test data
- Execute both automated and manual test cases and analyze results
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across releases
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure adequate test coverage across automation and manual areas
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0 –3 years of experience in QA with a mix of automation and manual testing
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (STLC, SDLC, test design techniques)
- Hands-on experience in automation frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber, Gauge, etc.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java / Python / JavaScript
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
- Strong experience in test case design and requirement analysis (user stories)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
