We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Managers to join the management team and help oversee the day-to-day operations of our cinema and deliver an outstanding entertainment experience to our customers.
Movies @ Dublin are hiring for the role of Manager in a full and part time capacity. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the movie industry, enjoy leading a team in a busy, fast paced environment, and above all enjoy working with people and delivering excellent customer service.
The role requires candidates to have full flexibility regarding working hours from Monday to Sunday and both weekend and nighttime work is required, in addition to be flexible to work at other locations.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated, driven, ambitious and a self-motivated individual interested in pursuing a career in cinema/leisure environment. Positive mental outlook, with Can- Do attitude is essential for this position.
Candidates are required to have at least 2 years relevant work experience in a similar management role.

Reporting To: General Manager, Group Operations Manager,
Job Purpose: You will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the cinema while ensuring that superior customer service and customer satisfaction is always delivered. In addition, you will oversee managing areas of cinema operations including but not limited to Retail, Film Projection, Marketing, Film Promotion Training Recruitment & Development, Facilities/Health and Safety, Audit.

Duties and Responsibilities
Typical daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Implementation of the cinema customer relations policies
- Responding to customer’s comments and queries
- Driving work standards among the team and managing staff performance
- Achieving audience and sales targets
- Overseeing completion of daily cleaning tasks and actively promoting the highest level of cleanliness among staff and the site.
- Implementing all procedures and incentives as directed by the General Manager and in cooperation with the wider Management Team of the organisation.
- Managing promotions within the cinema
- Highly accurate cash handling and stock control
- Preparing reports, statistics, forecasts and financial accounts
- Complying with licensing and health and safety regulations; taking proactive steps in ensuring safety of customers, staff and other persons on the premises.
- Operating digital projection equipment
- Adhering and upholding company policies, procedures and standards.
- Lead and motivate the team on shift
- Facilitating Induction, Onboarding and Training of New Employees help maintain training records
- Upholding Dignity and Respect in the Workplace
