Purpose:
This is more than a factory role — it’s a hands-on food science position where you will be involved in transforming raw milk into premium products.
We are looking to invest in the right person.
You’ll work with key processes such as:
- Fermentation
- Pasteurisation
- Homogenisation
- Quality control
Responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, and quality control of yogurt & Cheese products. You will operate machinery, monitor production processes, and ensure that all work complies with food safety standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment used in yogurt manufacturing.
· Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to specified recipes and production requirements.
· Oversee and manage processes such as milk fermentation, including monitoring temperatures, cultures, and timings to ensure consistent product quality.
· Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective action in line with company procedures.
· Follow hygiene, health, and safety guidelines at all times.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
· Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.
· Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
· Identify and report any production or machinery issues to the supervisor.
· Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
Requirements:
- A person who is willing to learn and wants to build a career.
- Ideally, previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Ideally, previous experience in dairy production, specifically in milk fermentation or cultured dairy products, with knowledge of monitoring and adjusting fermentation parameters, is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Be open to completing educational courses.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights.
- Flexible with shift patterns and willing to work weekends or overtime if required.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Own Transport.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, Early start shifts (3-5am start times), or fixed shifts depending on operational needs.
