The Role:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organised individual to join our front-office team on a fixed-term basis initially for a 6 month period as maternity cover.
The Receptionist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our reception area and in supporting residents, contractors and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist students, visitors and contractors in a professional manner.
Handle front-desk operations, including phone, email and in-person enquiries.
Manage check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a positive resident experience.
Maintain accurate tenant and payment records using the TCAS system.
Prepare reports and complete reconciliation of all tenant payments.
Assist with room allocations, applications, and general administration.
Log and follow up on maintenance issues with the Maintenance Team.
Coordinate with cleaning, security, and maintenance teams to support smooth operations.
Communicate important notices to residents and assist with community events.
Handle post and parcel deliveries for residents.
Provide administrative support to the management team as required.
About You:
Previous experience in a front-desk, administrative, or customer-service role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional manner.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with TCAS (or similar systems) an advantage.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment. A positive, helpful attitude with a focus on delivering great service.
