After-School Programme Coordinator –
The Hub @Scoil Lua Naofa
The Hub is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and organised individual to run our After-School Programme during school term time.
Position Details:
· Days: Monday to Friday.
· Location: Lorrha National School, Lorrha, Nenagh, Co Tipperary. E45AH95.
· Hours: After-school programme hours plus additional internal hours
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver a safe, engaging, and inclusive after-school programme for primary school children.
· Supervise and support children in a positive and caring environment.
· Organise activities such as arts and crafts, games, homework support, and outdoor play.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming space.
· Communicate effectively with school staff and parents when required.
· Administrative duties which would include record keeping. Full training will be provided.
Ideal Candidate:
· Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
· Friendly, patient, and energetic with a genuine interest in child development.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Relevant childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential.
