Hostess
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Hostess to join our team for weekend dinner service and other busy trading periods. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and creating a welcoming experience for guests from the moment they arrive.
Hours
- Weekend availability is essential, particularly Friday–Sunday evenings
- Typical hours range from 15–20 hours per week
- Additional shifts may be available during holidays, special events, and peak seasons
- Hours may vary seasonally
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently
- Coordinate table availability with servers and management
- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer enquiries
- Ensure the entrance and welcome area remain clean and presentable
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive first impression
- Assist the team during high-volume service periods
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering an excellent guest experience.
Pay: From €14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ballina, County Tipperary: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
