Full job description

Mullan design and manufacture a wide range of bespoke and customised decorative lighting pieces for the retail, commercial and hospitality markets.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager with experience in lighting design and manufacturing to oversee end-to-end project execution—from concept through production to delivery.

This role acts as the primary liaison between clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure that lighting products and systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple lighting design and manufacturing projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and production teams to ensure product feasibility, manufacturability, and quality.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, specifiers, and contractors.
Interpret architectural drawings and lighting specifications to guide product development and manufacturing.
Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues quickly to keep projects on track.
Oversee product prototyping, sample reviews, and quality assurance processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory certifications and standards.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of components and finished products.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
3–5+ years of project management experience, ideally in the lighting or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of lighting design principles, LED technologies, and custom lighting fabrication.
Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to €45,000.00 per year
