Full job description

The Darnley Lodge Hotel is currently seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organised individual to join our team in a varied part-time role covering Sales, Marketing, Events, and Reception support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in hospitality while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with hotel sales and marketing activities
Manage social media content and marketing campaigns
Maintain hotel website and online booking platforms
Promote events, accommodation, and food & beverage offerings
Assist with event enquiries and coordination
Attending networking events, and promotional activities
Provide Reception cover and support when required as part of the rotational schedule.
Support guest reservations and accommodation enquiries
Assist with administrative and operational duties
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events is required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
A friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Ability to multitask and work independently
Experience in hospitality, marketing, events, or customer service (preferred)
Social media and digital marketing experience an advantage
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Pay: €15.00 per hour
