We are seeking a professional and welcoming Gate and Doorman to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests,you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional first impression and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience,as well as the privacy of the estate. This position reports directly to the Estate Manager.

Location:Ashford Castle

Employment type:Part-Time

Working pattern:This varies - up to 5 days per week,typically would be 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities of a Gate and Doorman:

Warmly welcome guests and assist with luggage handling upon arrival and departure.
Provide courteous and efficient assistance at the entrance,opening doors and guiding guests.
Offer helpful and knowledgeable advice about Irelands attractions,transport,and local amenities.
Answering general guest queries and ensuring the lobby and front area of the hotel is presentable and clean at all times.
Keeping the estate private for our residents,and interacting with the locals of the area.

What are we looking for?

A positive and welcoming attitude with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
Ability to handle luggage and assist guests efficiently and professionally.
