Full job description

Job Summary:

Manage daily administrative and documentation tasks required for compliance with BRCgs standards and to ensure compliance during all daily operations.
Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, record systems and cleaning schedules.
Assist with the preparation, organisation and close out of audits (internal, customer, Bord Bia, BRCgs and DAFM). Assist in the certification of Origin Green.
Receive and log customer non-conformances; issue and track corrective action reports.
Conduct research into standards, specifications and compliance requirements when needed.
Develop and review SOPs, HACCP, TACCP/VACCP and Quality Manuals.
Ensuring all raw material and finished products meet customer requests and specifications. Carry out microbiological sampling of raw materials.

Reporting to: Technical Manager

Key Requirements:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience in a food environment desirable but not essential.
Ability to learn and understand HACCP principals.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good attention to detail is vital.
Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage others efficiently and effectively.
Ability to multitask and display good organisational skills.
Ability to deal with issues of a confidential nature.
Fluent English.

Pay: €28,000- €33,000 (based on individual experience).
