Position Summary:
As a Greenkeeper, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the health, appearance, and functionality of our grounds. Collaborating closely with our landscaping team, you'll ensure our golf courses, parks, gardens, and other outdoor areas remain impeccable. This role offers the chance to work outdoors, connect with nature, and play a pivotal role in preserving and enhancing our environment's beauty and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute routine maintenance tasks like mowing, edging, and trimming to uphold optimal levels of grass and vegetation.
Monitor soil conditions and implement suitable fertilization, irrigation, and pest control measures to bolster plant health and vitality.
Participate in the installation and upkeep of landscape features, spanning flower beds, shrubs, trees, and water features.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring proper functionality.
Collaborate with the landscaping team on landscape enhancement projects, encompassing planting, pruning, and mulching.
Sustain cleanliness and organization across work areas, equipment storage spots, and maintenance facilities.
Adhere rigorously to environmental regulations and sustainable landscaping practices in all greenkeeping endeavours.
Qualifications:
Preferable background in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field.
Knowledgeable about plant care, soil management, and irrigation systems.
Proficient in operating landscaping equipment, from lawn mowers to trimmers and leaf blowers.
Keen eye for detail with the ability to execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
Physical endurance and adaptability to varying outdoor weather conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
