The Still House is a vibrant and welcoming venue dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences in the heart of the city.

We pride ourselves on creating a friendly environment for both customers and staff, with a strong focus on teamwork, hospitality, and high standards across every aspect of the business.

Job Description

The Still House is currently seeking friendly, energetic, and experienced bartenders, mixologists, and floor staff to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’s experience in a similar hospitality role and a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and engage customers in a warm and professional manner.
Prepare and serve drinks and cocktails efficiently and to a high standard.
Verify identification to ensure compliance with legal age regulations.
Take customer orders accurately and provide table service when required.
Process payments quickly and accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and floor areas.
Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory replenishment.
Change kegs and prepare drink garnishes as needed.
Ensure all company procedures and health & safety standards are followed.
Wash and correctly store glassware.
Report any operational issues directly to management.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Strong communication skills and a high standard of English.
Good knowledge of beers, wines, spirits, and classic cocktail recipes.
Ability to handle cash and operate POS/cash register systems.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods.
Physically capable of lifting and carrying stock up to 20kg when necessary.
A positive attitude with strong teamwork and customer service skills.
