Job Title: Senior Carpenter / Lead Carpenter
Job Description:
CJ Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialise in high-quality extensions, renovations, and bespoke fit-out projects throughout Kilkenny and surrounding areas.
This role is suited to a skilled and motivated carpenter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience who can work independently, lead by example on site, and consistently deliver a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry to a high standard.
- Work on residential extensions, renovations, and bespoke fit-outs.
- Install kitchens, wardrobes, and other custom joinery.
- Undertake roofing and structural carpentry works.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate and work alongside other trades when required.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ carpentry experience.
- Proven experience in extensions, renovations, and high-end residential projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Full clean driving licence essential.
- Own tools and transport essential.
- Reliable, professional, and punctual.
- References required and will be checked.
