Full job description

Pierse Fitzgibbon Solicitors LLP is the largest law firm in Kerry. It is an award winning, well established firm employing over 40 staff in Listowel, and it is looking to recruit an Experienced Litigation Legal Executive for its very busy office. This is a permanent fulltime role and is on-site.

Role description:

Support solicitors, manage own workload and prioritise work;
Respond, on own initiative, to general queries and requests for information/assistance;
Open new files, manage communications and post, task lists and case progression in Keyhouse Case Management System;
Creating and modify legal documents, and prepare briefs for court;
Assist with taking instructions from new clients;
Liaise with insurance companies and other organisations as required;
Provide backup assistance to any other area of the firm when necessary.

The ideal candidate must have:

Diploma in Legal Studies or membership of the IILEX is an advantage;
Previous five (5) years similar experience;
Strong time management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required;
The ability to work in a high-volume business and to respond to changing environments;
The ability to multi-task, be highly motivated, positive and flexible;
Excellent telephone and organisational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy;
Good IT skills and proficient knowledge of all Microsoft applications;
The ability to work as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
