Full job description

Prosolar is looking for a motivated candidate to join our team and begin their journey as a Solar PV Apprentice Electrician.

The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in all aspects of solar PV installation across domestic, commercial, and agricultural sectors. They will also work towards obtaining a QQI Level 6 Advanced Craft Certification.

The Role:

Assist in the installation of solar PV systems in domestic, commercial, and agricultural settings.
Shadow and learn from our experienced electricians, gaining both theoretical and practical knowledge of solar PV systems.
Plan and carry out work on-site in line with project requirements, drawings, and planning guidelines.
Complete assigned tasks within allocated timeframes while maintaining a high standard of work.
Ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Prosolar’s high standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid Full Irish driver’s license.
Flexibility to travel as required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous electrical experience is desirable but not required.
