We are currently seeking to recruit a Receptionist Supervisor to join the team at the Loughrea Hotel & Spa
Main Purpose for the Job:
To directly carry out the day to day running of the front office administrative duties.
Ensuring that policies and producers are implemented and adhered to. Along with
exceeding our guests expectations by providing a friendly, professional and efficient
service. Supporting, training and guiding the reception team in a proactive manner.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To portray one’s self as an ambassador to the front office team by being positive, professional, competent, and to be naturally willing to always go the extra mile for the reception team.
- Punctually attend work with a high standard of personal appearance and uniform.
- Operate check ins / check outs, welcome guests on arrival and familiarise guests with facilities available to them within the hotel
- Manage Efficient running of front desk by coordinating the work flow
- Answering internal and external calls in a prompt efficient and friendly manner.
- Ensuring accurate reservations are processed by reception team.
- Ensure you maintain a complete and expert product knowledge of the hotel including pricing, menu options, room capacities, equipment usage in order to best advise the potential customer and maximise yield potential.
- Use of the hotel’s reservations system Hotsoft.
- Assisting the reception to ensure that all complaints are dealt with professionally and reported to the Front Office Manager.

The ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working in a hotel reception will be an advantage
- Will be a courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
- Have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Be flexible with regards to hours
- Have a good command of the English Language
- Have excellent self-presentation
