About ROQ
ROQ Commercial Contracting is a growing civil engineering contractor delivering projects across Ireland including utilities installation, earthworks, utilities, road construction, site clearance, renewable energy civils and infrastructure works.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire an experienced Tractor Driver to join our operations team working across projects in Dublin and the Midlands.
The Role
The successful candidate will operate modern tractors and site support equipment on active civil engineering projects, primarily towing dump trailers and supporting earthworks and site operations.
This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced operator who is comfortable working on busy construction sites and takes pride in maintaining machinery and working safely.
Main Responsibilities
- Operating modern John Deere tractors, Fastracs and dump trailers
- Supporting earthworks and general civils operations on site
- Hauling materials safely and efficiently around site
- Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Completing daily logs/check sheets
- Working closely with site management and ground crews when required
- Following all site health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating tractors on civil engineering or construction sites
- Experience working on:
- Earthworks
- Roadworks
- Utilities
- Renewable energy projects
- Good understanding of safe site operations
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Safe Pass required
- Full clean driving licence required
- Good attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
Experience operating low-loaders would be an advantage.

Pay: €18.00-€20.00 per hour
