As demand continues to grow, we are seeking an ambitious and technically minded Energy Advisor to join our expanding team.

THE ROLE

This is a field-based technical and customer-facing role focused on helping homeowners identify and implement energy-saving upgrades.

You will act as the customer's trusted advisor, guiding them through the survey, quotation and decision-making process.

Initially, the role will focus heavily on Solar PV systems before expanding into other energy efficiency measures including insulation, ventilation & heating.

Unlike traditional sales roles, this position combines:

Customer consultation
Technical surveying
Proposal preparation
Sales conversion
Pre-installation validation

The successful candidate will typically complete 2–4 customer appointments per day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct customer consultations and site visits
Carry out technical surveys of domestic properties
Assess suitability for Solar PV and other retrofit measures
Prepare and present quotations and proposals
Explain SEAI grants, expected savings and available options
Follow up on quotations and opportunities
Maintain accurate records within QSmart CRM
Liaise with technical, design and operations teams
Support customers throughout the sales journey
Achieve agreed sales and conversion targets
Deliver an exceptional customer experience

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role would suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working with people and wants to develop a long-term career within the renewable energy sector.

Essential Requirements

Strong technical aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable dealing directly with homeowners
Full clean driving licence
Strong organisational skills
Professional and customer-focused approach

SEAI grant schemes

No previous retrofit experience is required.

Full training will be provided.

SALARY & BENEFITS

€50,000–€55,000 salary depending on experience
