Egis has operated in Ireland since 1959 and is one of the largest multi-disciplinary consultancy, engineering and operations firms in the country. Our services in Ireland span the full lifespan of infrastructure, from upstream feasibility studies through design, construction supervision, delivery and operations. Our current activities in Ireland include operating the Dublin Tunnel and the Jack Lynch Tunnel in Cork, overseeing 1200km of Ireland’s motorways and working on the design and delivery of major transport projects and mobility services.

The Egis engineering division is now almost 200 people strong across four offices in Dublin, Castlebar, Cork and Limerick.

About the Role

Recognised Project Management training;
Business management experience
Demonstrable experience in a similar Project Management role in large scale infrastructure projects.
Proven experience of successfully managing third party consultants and contractors.
Previous experience providing consulting services in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment;
Commercial awareness and contract knowledge (e.g. FIDIC, NEC or similar);
Design experience gained from concept development and detailed engineering;
Practical experience gained from construction, commissioning, and testing;
Experience or knowledge of the planning process in the Republic of Ireland.

What do we need from you

A degree in an Engineering, Project Management or Renewables focused subject
Be a Chartered Engineer (or working towards / close to Chartered or Incorporated status); or Project Management Professional status or working towards it
A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Project Manager on renewable energy projects or a closely related infrastructure sector is a requirement with experience of performing the PSDP role on projects
You have a proven track record on business development
You are a self-starter, ambitious and able to manage multiple tasks. You have excellent written and oral communication skills and are willing to work in a variety of different roles
