Spa Receptionist / Spa Attendant to join our team at The Wellhouse Spa, located within the historic Rockhill House Hotel.
Nestled amidst the beauty of nature, The Wellhouse Spa offers guests a unique multi-sensory wellness experience designed to promote relaxation, health, and wellbeing. Guests enjoy complimentary access to our extensive thermal suite, featuring experience showers, aromatic steam room, Finnish and infrared saunas, hydrotherapy pool, outdoor whirlpool tubs, bucket shower, Mongolian meditation yurt, and tranquil relaxation areas before and after their treatments.
To help us deliver this exceptional guest experience, we are looking for a reliable, confident, and customer-focused individual with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team and will be committed to providing outstanding customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional spa experience.
- Handling customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Managing spa bookings and reservations.
- Processing payments and cash handling.
- Assisting guests within the thermal spa area.
- Supporting therapists with treatment room preparation, opening, and closing procedures.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all spa facilities, including the thermal suite and relaxation areas.
- Communicating with the Head of Department regarding daily operations, maintenance requirements, and guest feedback.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A positive, friendly, and professional manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
- Previous reception, hospitality, spa, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
