Join Vertiv as a Junior Electrical Design Engineer in our Skidded Switchgear Solutions team and play a key role in shaping the future of cutting-edge modular solutions for data centres, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure at scale. This is your opportunity to lead the way in developing innovative, sustainable, and functional structural designs that support the rapidly evolving needs of AI-driven technologies and next-generation data centre environments.

At Vertiv, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineering experts, leveraging and supporting emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and advanced data analytics to support next-level solutions. You'll contribute to groundbreaking projects that are transforming the way the world builds and deploys high-performance infrastructure for leading global IT and tech companies.

What you'll do? As a team player, your responsibilities include:

Integrated Skidded Structures: Be part of the team for electrical design/integration of skidded solutions from bid stage to completion. Preparation of design & workshop documentation and ordering BoMs for installation material and non-critical equipment.
Ensuring Compliance and Best Practices: Apply international, national, and internal standards, ensuring that all designs are safe, compliant, and cost-effective. Integrate good engineering practices into every stage of the design process.
Collaborating Across Teams: Actively participate in project kick-off and coordination meetings, and engage with cross-functional teams, including architectural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and site engineers, to ensure a cohesive project execution.
Supporting Execution and Site Activities: Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly. Collaborate with site managers, manufacturing, quality control, and commissioning engineers to resolve structural issues and ensure safe and efficient implementation.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering, building services or similar degree.
Experience: Graduate position ideally from a building services background.
Language: Fluent in English
Software Skills: Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, EPLAN/Amtech, and MS Office
Key Competencies: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, organisation, flexibility, and strong team collaboration
