Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, events, weddings, groups, and local markets.
- Manage the full sales process from enquiry and proposal through to conversion and follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, agents, suppliers, and local businesses.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, networking activity, presentations, and site visits.
- Prepare professional proposals, contracts, quotations, and sales reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer demand.
- Work closely with the management team to maximise sales opportunities and profitability.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Develop and deliver annual marketing plans in line with business objectives.
- Manage digital and traditional marketing campaigns to promote the business and its services.
- Oversee social media content, email marketing, website updates, advertising, PR, photography, video, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all marketing activity is consistent with brand standards and tone of voice.
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, special offers, events, launches, and promotions.
- Track campaign performance and report on engagement, enquiries, conversions, and return on investment.
- Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, designers, printers, media partners, and photographers where required.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a key point of contact for major clients and business partners.
- Ensure client expectations are clearly understood, communicated, and delivered by operational teams.
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Gather feedback from clients and guests to identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the business at trade shows, networking events, exhibitions, and community events.
Team & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, revenue, events, reservations, and management teams.
- Communicate confirmed business clearly to relevant departments.
- Support and guide any sales, marketing, or events team members.
- Lead regular sales and marketing meetings and provide updates on activity, pipeline, and performance.
- Promote a positive, professional, and customer-focused culture.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a sales and marketing management role.
- Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and campaign planning.
- Experience managing budgets, sales pipelines, and marketing plans.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, social media platforms, and marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a management team.
Desirable Criteria
- Five years experience in hospitality, hotels, tourism, events, weddings, or leisure.
- Knowledge of local corporate, conference, wedding, and tourism markets.
- Experience with platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, WordPress, CRM systems, or hotel/property management systems.
- Full clean driving licence.
