We are currently seeking an experienced Machinist / Toolmaker to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience in both manual and CNC machining and be capable of working independently to a high standard. Operating Hurco Mill and Colchester CNC lathe. A candidate with only manual machine experience can be easily trained on these cnc machines if required
Responsibilities
Operating manual lathes and milling machines
Setting and operating CNC lathes and CNC milling machines
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
Tool setting, measuring, and quality checking finished parts
General machine shop duties and maintaining a clean work area
Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Requirements
Previous experience as a machinist, fitter, or toolmaker
Strong knowledge of machining practices and engineering drawings
Experience with CNC machining preferred
Ability to work on own initiative
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Reliable, punctual, and motivated
Pay: €35,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
