WE have an immediate vacancy for the position of Laser Cutting Machine Operator for our very busy workshop in Kilnaleck.
We need a strong candidate to be ready to hit the ground running and it is vital that you have previous relevant experience.
You will ensure a consistent, high-quality supply of parts and components to our fabrication teams. We have a wide range of machinery for cutting, bending and forming steel sheets and various steel sections. We require individuals who are technically-minded, who appreciate accuracy and precision and can communicate clearly across the various production departments.
The Role:
CNC Machine Operator
Operate range of CNC machines (laser, press brake, tube-bending etc)
Maintain production records as per company quality system
Interpret CAD drawings of various components
Organise parts into difficult production batches
The Person:
Technically-minded with a mechanical aptitude
An experienced CNC machine operator with a minimum of 2 - 3 years previous experience in a similar role in a metal-fabrication facility
Works well with others in a safe, accurate and professional manner
