The Role:
We are seeking a high-performing, autonomous sales closer who can hit the ground running, smash targets, and drive revenue growth with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time, permanent, fully onsite role (Mon-Fri, 8:30 am–5:00 pm) based at our Tullow facility. As a key player in our small but mighty commercial team, you will take immediate ownership of the sales pipeline, balancing incoming inbound interest with aggressive outbound hunting across our environmental and oil analysis sectors. This position is built for an adaptable, self-driven closer who thrives on hitting and exceeding KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Close Sales: Drive the full B2B sales cycle from initial contact to secured contract.
- Outbound Hunting: Generate new business via cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Inbound Qualification: Rapidly field incoming leads, assessing commercial potential and closing them quickly.
- Pipeline Ownership: Manage your own pipeline autonomously with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Account Expansion: Upsell and cross-sell to environmental consultancies, government bodies, and industrial clients.
- Strategic Proposals: Write, price, and negotiate high-value quotes, tenders, and commercial proposals.
- HubSpot Tracking: Maintain flawless data entry, manage pipelines, and forecast revenue accurately within HubSpot.
- Hit Targets: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Education: A degree or Equivalent qualification in Environmental Science, Business, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in B2B sales or customer facing role. A genuine interest in environmental issues and laboratory services is an advantage.
- Technical Ability: Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office and other sales tools.
- Self-Motivation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Team Player: Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and support senior sales staff if needed.
