Job Title: Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a hardworking, committed and ambitious individual to join the Warehouse team at our office in Tullow.
The principal function of this position is to work within the warehouse team at Distag QCS. Picking and Packing orders, receiving in new stock, replenishing shelf stock and helping to create an efficient and effective warehouse environment that is completely customer focused.
In more detail the main tasks will include:
- To pick and pack daily orders, ensuring that accuracy and presentation are of the highest quality.
- To receive in all stock and ensure it is as per the incoming manifests.
- To replenish the picking shelves.
- Carry out stock checks
- General housekeeping
- Unloading and loading of containers
- Loading and unloading of lorries
- Any other duties as necessary
May be assigned to other areas of Warehouse, based on business or customer requirements.
Happy as a team player or working on their own initiative with sound communication skills and attention to detail.
It would be preferable for the successful applicant to hold a forklift license, and any engineering related experience would be very beneficial to the role.
Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
Terms & Conditions:
The hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break, but it is required that the Warehouse Operative will work such hours necessary to carry out the duties associated with the post. Overtime is payable.
