We are now seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team on a 9‑month fixed‑term maternity leave contract, supporting the team through a key period of operational delivery and system change.
Function
The Supply Chain Analyst (Maternity Leave Cover) will support the day‑to‑day operation of the Supply Chain function at Ballymaloe Foods, ensuring accuracy across order processing, stock control and ERP data during the maternity leave period.
Working closely with the Supply Chain, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality and Operations teams, the role will help maintain continuity of service, data integrity, and efficient execution of customer and supplier orders. The Supply Chain Analyst will demonstrate Ballymaloe Warmth in all communications and contribute positively to the team environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Order Processing & Warehouse Support
- Support the Supply Chain Co‑ordinator in ensuring customer orders are received accurately, processed on the ERP system, and followed through to dispatch
- Assist with order dispatch, ensuring all system entries and documentation are completed accurately
- Support the warehouse function in the execution of daily customer orders
Stock Control, Accuracy & Quality Interface
- Participate in stocktakes and routine stock checks, supporting the investigation of discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels, including quarantine stock, and support accurate updates to the ERP system
- Liaise with the Quality team to help resolve data, stock or system‑related issues
Purchasing, Team & Systems Support
- Support the purchasing function where necessary, particularly during busy periods
- Provide cover and general support for Supply Chain team members during holidays and peak trading periods
- Support the implementation of the new ERP system, including data validation, testing and process alignment
Continuous Improvement & Lean
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain team
- Support the Lean journey within the Supply Chain function by assisting with the identification and implementation of process improvements
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in a supply chain, operations or manufacturing environment (FMCG desirable). Minimum 2 years.
- Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Procurement or other relevant education
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage data accurately
- Confidence working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment
- Clear and professional communication skills
