OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB

J.S. McCarthy is now recruiting for qualified Industrial Painters for our long-term contracts nationwide. JS McCarthy aim to provide permanent long-term employment and we provide all necessary training and development for our employees to carry out specialist contracts. JS McCarthy carry out commercial & industrial painting contracts throughout a broad range of industrial sectors with Clients that have awarded multiyear contracts to carry out all their Industrial Painting on site. With over 145 years of experience in the Irish market, we have earned a reputation for performing very high-quality work, safely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

If you possess the relevant qualifications and experience, we want to hear from you. Please see the

specifications of the role outlined below:

All work to be completed in accordance with JS McCarthy Safety, Quality & Environmental Standards.

Application of specialist coating by brush and spray
Surface preparation by various means
Grit blasting
HPWJ & UHP washing.
Experience in specialist two pack coatings preferrable but not essential
Experience in Industrial painting contracts preferrable

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Completed FAS Painting & Decorating Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position.
Good working knowledge of English is preferrable.
Completed Health and Safety training would be an advantage.
Minimum B Class driving licence an advantage.

flexibility, agility and be passionate about what they do.
