The IT Integration Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing integrations that enable secure, scalable, and reliable data and system interoperability across Musgrave’s enterprise application landscape. The role ensures integration solutions align with corporate technology strategy, architectural standards, business priorities, keeping one eye on the future to bring us closer to the North Star set out by the Enterprise Architect.
The Integration Architect designs and governs integration patterns, platforms, and standards to support the exchange of data and services between internal systems, cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, and external partners.
This role plays a critical part in enabling digital transformation, ERP modernisation, data integration, and API-led connectivity by ensuring integration solutions are robust, reusable, optimized, secure, and future-proof. The Integration Architect collaborates closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data, Security, Delivery Teams, and third-party partners to ensure high-quality integration outcomes, delivering / leading exciting projects across the business.

What you'll be doing
Enterprise Integration Architecture
- In conjunction with our strategic partner, define and own enterprise integration architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures
- Design end-to-end integration solutions across on‑premise, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments
- Lead architecture for APIs, event-driven integrations, messaging, ETL/ELT, and service-based integrations
- Provide architectural oversight and governance for integration initiatives and programmes
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended
- Partner with Enterprise Architects to align integration architecture with overall IT strategy
- Support major transformation initiatives from an integration perspective
- Ensure integration solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements
- Contribute to vendor selection, solution evaluation, and technical assurance
- Continuous learning and research of emerging integration technologies and best practices
- Act as a technical authority and mentor for integration best practices across IT teams
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to develop solutions and achieve consensus
- Manage offshore teams in building A2A, B2B and streaming integrations using a combination of reusable messaging and API led approaches, as well as point to point solutions where appropriate
- Be capable and willing to take a hands-on approach to build and test such components
Development of IT & Transformation Capability
- Govern and promote integration standards, patterns, and lessons learned across IT teams
- Contribute to architecture forums, design reviews, and technical communities
- Contribute to IT strategy, standards & governance
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development
- Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship
What we're looking for
Essential qualificatoons&skills
- 3rd level qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability and willingness to tackle complex problems
- Understanding of how AI technology impacts data integration domain
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Strategic yet pragmatic mindset
Functional Knowledge & Experience
- 10+ years in IT with strong focus on systems integration
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale integrations in complex enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns
- Experience with Microsoft Azure integration technologies, enterprise messaging and broker technologies such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, IBM App Connect Enterprise and IBM MQ
- Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite or comparable ERP integration framework
