Workplace Ergonomist
(Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy / Ergonomics Background)
We are seeking a motivated health professional to join our growing Workplace Health & Ergonomics team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Ergonomics, Sports Science, or a related health discipline who are interested in transitioning into workplace wellbeing and corporate health.
About the Role
You will work directly with organisations across Ireland to support employee wellbeing, reduce workplace discomfort and injury risk, and help create healthier, more productive work environments. This is a varied and flexible role combining ergonomic assessments, client interaction, training delivery, and workplace health education. Full training and support will be provided for suitable candidates looking to develop specialist expertise in workplace ergonomics.
The role is hybrid, with approximately 2 days per week spent visiting client sites across the Munster region. We are open to candidates based in Cork, Limerick, or Tipperary.
Ergonomics & Workplace Assessments
- Conduct ergonomic and workstation assessments across a range of workplace environments
- Identify musculoskeletal and workstation-related risk factors
- Provide practical recommendations to improve employee comfort, wellbeing, and productivity
- Support the setup and installation of ergonomic equipment where required
- Prepare clear and professional assessment reports
- Deliver ergonomic training sessions, workshops, and webinars
- Support workplace adjustment recommendations in collaboration with clients and healthcare professionals where appropriate
Client Support & Workplace Health
- Build positive relationships with client organisations and employees
- Provide practical guidance on workplace wellbeing and healthy working practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to support workplace health initiatives and client projects
Educational & Digital Content
- Contribute to the development of workplace health education materials, webinars, blogs, and wellbeing resources
- Assist with creating simple digital content for employee education and social media
About You
We would love to hear from candidates with:
- A background in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Ergonomics, Sports Science, or another relevant health discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An interest in workplace health, ergonomics, and employee wellbeing
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Confidence delivering training or presenting to groups
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and online systems
- Excellent written and spoken English
- A full clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites
Desirable
- CORU registration or membership of a relevant professional body
- Experience completing DSE or ergonomic assessments
- Previous clinical or workplace health experience
