Executive Travel Solutions, in partnership with Bus Éireann, is currently recruiting qualified and dependable drivers to service our School Transport Contracts . We’re looking for individuals who are professional, safety-conscious, and passionate about supporting school communities.
Positions Available
- Midi Coach Drivers (Category D) –Based County Clare
- Mini Bus Drivers (Category D1) – Based County Clare
- Car (B Licence ) For Special Needs School Transport, County Clare, Must Have Full Irish Car Driving License for at least 2 Years
Job Overview
As a School Transport Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and punctual transport of students, including those with special needs. This is a critical and rewarding role, ideal for individuals seeking part-time hours with consistency and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport children safely to and from school on designated routes.
- Foster a friendly, respectful, and secure environment for all passengers.
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with schools, parents, and company dispatchers.
- Ensure full compliance with traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Provide extra care and attention when transporting students with additional needs.
Requirements
- A valid Irish driving licence for the appropriate vehicle type:
- Category D or D1 for minibuses, midis, and coaches
- Category B Licence (Car) for special needs school transport
- Up-to-date CPC modules (where applicable)
- Garda Vetting (required for all school transport roles – assistance provided if needed)
- Previous experience in passenger or school transport is an advantage
- A calm, reliable, and caring approach to working with children and young passengers
Working Hours
- Split shifts: Morning and Afternoon school runs
- Monday to Friday only – no weekend work
- Regular routes, providing stability and work-life balance
