We are currently seeking a Senior Pastry Chef to join the team at Farnham Estate. The Senior Pastry Chef is a key leadership role within the kitchen, responsible for overseeing the creation, preparation, and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. This position combines advanced technical expertise with creativity, ensuring that all offerings meet exceptional standards of taste, consistency, and visual appeal.

Role/Responsibilities:

in conjunction with the Head Pastry Chef lead the pastry section, overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow

Design and develop innovative dessert and pastry menus in line with the overall culinary vision

Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty baked goods

Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff

Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control across all products

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage ingredient sourcing

Control food costs, minimize waste, and optimize efficiency within the pastry kitchen

Collaborate with the executive chef and other departments for menu planning and special events

Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques and products

Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper use of kitchen tools

Handle customer feedback and make adjustments to improve satisfaction
