A part- time Occupational Health Nurse – Cavan (32 hours a week)

Optima Health is the UK and Ireland market leader in occupational health and wellbeing services. Optima Health partners with its clients to optimise employee health and wellbeing. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Optima Health Team in Ireland!

We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to deliver comprehensive Occupational Health and Wellbeing services. The role is with a global dairy cooperative company shared between two of their sites in Cavan, requiring two days per week at each location.

The main elements of this role include:

Case management
Workplace assessment
Health surveillance
Identifying and preventing work-related health problems
Workforce and workplace monitoring and health needs assessments
Health promotion
Education and training
Risk assessment and risk management
Return to work management

Education/Experience:

The ideal candidates will:

Hold a general Nurse qualification
Hold full An Bord Altranais registration
Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Health or be studying same
Competency in Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision screening, phlebotomy, VDU ergonomics
Have experience in Case Management
