The HR Executive supports all human resource activities ensuring the effective recruitment, onboarding, administration, welfare, and retention of site and office-based personnel. The role helps maintain compliance with employment legislation, company policies, health and safety requirements, and project-specific workforce needs.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities.
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for open positions.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
- Assist in employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Maintain employee records and documentation.
- Coordinate exit interviews and clearance processes.
- Ensure proper completion of joining and offboarding formalities.
Employee Relations
- Address employee queries and concerns professionally.
- Coordinate attendance and leave records for payroll processing.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and disciplinary matters.
Performance Management
- Support performance appraisal processes.
- Monitor employee performance review schedules and coordinate with the employee and manager.
- Maintain performance-related documentation and records.
Student Placement & Graduate Programme Management
- Coordinate the company’s student placement, internship, and graduate recruitment programmes.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and training institutions.
- Attend careers fairs, recruitment events, and industry networking opportunities to promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Manage the recruitment process for placement students and graduate engineers, including advertising opportunities, screening applications, arranging interviews, and issuing offers.
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and site placements for students and graduates.
- Monitor placement and graduate progress through regular reviews and feedback sessions with line managers.
- Support graduates in completing structured development programmes and achieving professional accreditation requirements.
- Maintain records of placement students, graduates, training activities, and programme outcomes.
- Organise mentoring arrangements between experienced staff and graduates.
Training & Development
- Maintain records of training, licences, and certifications.
- Coordinate mandatory construction industry training.
- Monitor expiry dates of CSCS/Safe Pass cards and other competency certificates.
- Support and identify learning and development initiatives.
HR Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain HR databases, employee files, and confidential records.
- Support audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
