The Role
Carraig Donn currently have an opportunity for an Online Warehouse & Administration Supervisor based between both locations in Castlebar and Westport.
This role combines warehouse operations, administration, team leadership, and systems coordination to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Online and Warehouse department.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and support the warehouse and administration teams through strong communication, leadership, and collaboration.

Supervise team performance, including HR-related duties such as reviews, attendance management, and staff support.

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members to improve efficiency and engagement.

Coach and support staff when issues or concerns arise.

Drive operational efficiencies and identify opportunities for process improvements across warehouse and administrative functions.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and departmental documentation.

Build knowledge of all systems connected to warehouse operations and assist with troubleshooting issues.

Ensure all tasks are completed in line with company policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including reporting accidents and near misses promptly.

Communicate effectively with relevant departments regarding operational issues or concerns.

Support problem solving and continuous improvement of IT and warehouse systems, including system testing where required.

Assist with stock control processes and ensure procedures are followed consistently across the team.

Liaise with suppliers when necessary regarding stock or operational matters.

Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation, cleanliness, safety, and hygiene through a clean-as-you-go policy.

Act as the main point of contact in the absence of the Operations Manager.

Support general administrative duties relating to warehouse and online operations.
What We Are Looking For

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse and/or administrative environment.

Experience using warehouse management systems, ideally PPD Systems.

Previous experience managing or supervising a team, including coaching and performance management.

Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong IT and systems knowledge.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Knowledge of Shopify is desirable.
